...for now anyway!
Jesse graduated last week and we couldn't be more happy! It felt like a long process because they had the main graduation on Thursday and then the department graduation on Friday morning at 8 am. It still hasn't hit me yet that he has graduated. Maybe by the end of summer it will feel more real to me. I am so proud of Jesse for his hard work! He now has more time to play video games, which I'm sure he'll take full advantage of!I surprised Jesse with a weekend getaway. We went to SLC for the weekend and ended up staying in the Marriott. I had booked a package through Radisson, but we were unsatisfied with the hotel. The Radisson refunded our money and we decided to go home. We were going to stay at home for the weekend (mainly because of frustration with the Radisson), but luckily we found great reviews for the Marriott City Center. We highly recommend that hotel to anyone planning to stay downtown. Just be sure to book the breakfast stay; they have a yummy breakfast buffet.
Now that Jesse is done with school for the time, he has a list of projects he wants to do. I told him that it's going to take several years to get used to not being in school. By the time I get used to it, he'll be going back for his Masters.
