Updating finally...

Since I'm home today from church I thought I 'd update everyone on what we're up to these days.

Sickness has been the main thing lately. I got sick last week and have been sick since. Last night Lilly woke up crying and barely breathing. She became congested within a few hours after going to bed. Her chest was wheezing and she couldn't talk. We were very scared for her and came pretty close to taking her to the emergency room. I didn't like the way her chest was moving as she was struggling to breath. We sat down with her and had a prayer for her to start breathing easier and that she'd calm down in order to do so. We then put her in the bathtub with the humidifier running full steam in the bathroom. After about 15 minutes, she was breathing better and she was talking to us. Prayers are awesome! She's feeling better today, but with her runny nose, I thought it was best to not take her to church.

We're also adjusting to not being busy with school. I didn't realize how much time consuming school was at the time. Jesse and I have been catching up on reading books we've wanted to read for a while. I finally read New Moon. I loved it and can't wait for the movie. I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I love it so far! Jesse read an Orson Scott Card book within a few days. He is currently reading an Albert Einstein biography. Besides reading we're enjoying our homework-free nights.

LILLY IS POTTY TRAINED!!! (except for at night) Over the last year I have potty trained her on and off. She'd go on the potty for a couple days and then want to wear a diaper again. This time has been much easier. It seems to have just clicked with her and she fears it less. She loves feeling like a big girl and I think the treats help too! She takes naps and we can go run errands without any accidents. I'm so proud of her and how grown up she's become since potty training.

I love the picture of Lilly winking! She is such a funny little thing! So proud of her for being potty trained, too!

Oh, and I'm so grateful you had a prayer last night and Lilly got some relief. That was really scary. Prayer is awesome, and having the Priesthood in a home is priceless. I'm so glad your family is worthy to have prayers answered.

I remember when I was dating Dad and he and his brothers gave Aunt Marilyn a blessing when she was sick. I loved seeing him use his Priesthod, and fell more in love with him that night.
