Sorry for the delay in posting all these updates! A few weeks ago a miraculous thing happend in our family. As most of you know, Lilly has been attached to binkies from day one. While I've never really tried taking away from her, I had a deadline of August to rid her of it. One morning while watching Dora, she saw a commercial for Chuck e Cheese's. She went into the kitchen and came back in without the binky. When she came back in she said, "I frowed my binky in da gawbage, can we go to Chuck e Cheese's now?". WHAAAAAA? I couldn't believe, A)how grown up that action was and B) that she actually threw it in the garbage. I immediately called Jesse to tell him of Lilly's biggest accomplishment and we decided to take her to Chuck e Cheese that night.

The only time she complained about binky was at bed time. That lasted a couple weeks and this week she hasn't even mentioned it. She did find a binky this week in her toys and asked if she could have it. I told her that she didn't need it and that she should throw it in the garbage. She threw it away without complaining.
YAY FOR NO BINKIES!!!!!
