Back to School......

Summer is officially over for Lilly and I. I started school again on Aug. 26. Lilly started preschool on Aug. 27. It's weird for me to be back in school without Jesse. Lilly is doing awesome in preschool. On her first day, Jesse took off from work to go with me to drop her off. We walked in, she saw Grandma Bahr and gave her a hug and we took her to her classroom. She found her name tag on the door, put it on and ran straight for the toys, didn't even look back or say goodbye. Such an independent bug. She loves going to preschool. She comes home with such cute colorings. She loves that grandma is in the same building with her and she loves her teacher. Guess that's why she never cried. (I was expecting a huge meltdown since she used to cry every week for a few months straight every time we took her to Nursery at church.) Since it's a 30 minute drive to preschool, I've been hanging out there (mostly at Jesse's parents house) and doing homework. I thought 9 credits would be much easier than the 12-15 credits I have been doing. WRONG! Lots of reading and papers to write. It's cool though. I only have one more class to take before I'm done with my Associates. I couldn't take it this semester, so *fingers crosses* I'll get in to it next semester. If not, I'll keep taking as many classes as I can while I can. I guess that means I really need to declare a major. Hmmmm. Any ideas?????

Besides school, Jesse and I have been doing the P90X exercise. Christie and Travis got us interested on our Arizona vacation. We LOVE it. It's hard, but it's really nice having a workout buddy, that way we push each other. Haven't lost any weight yet, but I've lost a couple inches and I can definetly tell that I'm gaining muscle. We started waking up at 6 am to do it, but then we slacked off the last couple weeks and have been doing it at night before dinner. Now that I'm back in school it will probably be better for me to get up early, work out and then proceed to the endless hours of homework.

On Lilly's first day of preschool, Jesse and I had a lunch date. We had to go to Costco to get some more protein bars and shakes, so we decided to have lunch there. The line at the Costco eatery was long so we decided to go somewhere else. We went over to Pollo Loco, but the line was almost out the door. We gave up there and good thing we did, because we found the most delicious place to eat. It's called DP(Downtown Philly) Cheesesteaks. All I can say is YUMMMMMM!!! As you can tell from the picture below, Jesse was excited that they sell Tastykakes there too. If you haven't tried it, it's a must. It's in the same area as Costco out in American Fork.
