Life Update

WE MOVED!!!

I have yet to get around to taking pictures of the new place, maybe this weekend :\ We are loving living in Saratoga Springs. The new place is much bigger than the condo and it's perfect for tiring out Lilly everyday.

Lilly just had some major dental work done on her teeth. She had 3 Porcelain Crowns put on her front teeth and 4 silver crowns. She was given anasthesia to put her to sleep during the 45 minute procedure. A couple minutes after she got the shot she was staring off into space and they took her back. After they got done with her teeth they had us come back to try and wake her up. It took about 40 minutes for us to get her to the point where they felt comfortable enough to let her go. She ended up coming with us to my midwife appointment since I didn't have time to take her over to Debra's. The nurse and midwife had a good laugh watching her coming off of the drugs. Sadly I didn't take any videos of her and all her loopiness. She started asking for food an hour or so after we got home and managed to keep it down. She slept on and off the rest of the day and had a really long nap the next day. She loves her new teeth that "match Brigham's". Notice the nice bruise on her cheek? Yeah, she decided to play rough with an older cousin and he accidentally let her hand go. She smacked her face into my mom's table. Will this deter her from playing rough? NO!

I will be 37 weeks (full-term) in 2 days. Went to the midwives this week. Somehow ended up loosing 2 pounds, probably from all the walking up and down stairs here. No dilation, but she said that really doesn't mean anything since you can start dilating anytime. TMI info: I have started loosing my mucous plug. I explained to the midwife what I was experiencing and she confirmed that it was indeed me loosing my plug. Which isn't really any indicator of when I'll actually go into labor since some women loose theirs and go into labor soon after while others go for weeks without going into labor or their plugs regenerate (which oddly can happen). She did say that he seems to be measuring bigger than my EDD (estimated due date), so hopefully I go into labor sooner than later.

Once we get internet (hopefully within the next week), Jesse will be able to start working from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It'll be nice to have someone here with a sleeping baby while Lilly and I run errands during the day rather than at night after he'd get home.

Jesse and Lilly put up our Halloween decorations. This is probably our family's favorite holiday, so it would be fun for the baby to be born before Halloween so that we can have Halloween themed parties for him every year.

That's about it on any updates on us. Hopefully within the next week I can get picture taken and uploaded.

We still don't have a name picked out yet for the baby, but we've narrowed it down to several. We thought it would be fun to get some input from our family and friends. Take our poll on the right. We won't necessarily be picking the name that everyone likes the best, but at least we'll know what everyone else thinks. HAVE FUN!!!!
