Our Trip to Arizona
We recently went to Arizona to stay with Jesse's parents in a timeshare in Scottsdale. The trip was alot of fun and it was SO nice to get away for a week. Unfortunately, Jesse had to take off time from school and as a result he's just barely catching up with all the work, but it was totally worth it for both of us! Jesse served his mission in Tempe so he was able to show me around his areas. It was really neat to actually see these places he's talked about so much in person. He took us to a few restaurants in his areas. He now has me addicted to Carne Asada Burritos from Rolberto's (in Mesa on Main St.). We went swimming almost every morning and Lilly had so much fun. We also went to the Mesa Temple.
***Heart-warming story*** While we were at the temple we went into the Visitors Center to look around. When we walked up to the Christus, Lilly pointed at Jesus and smiled. They also had an exhibit in one of the rooms of pieces that someone had sculpted of different scripture verses involving Jesus. Lilly kept pointing at a certain one and saying "Je Juh". She has said that before to pictures in our house, but I guess being on temple grounds it seemed more special.

Jesse, Me, Christie and Travis got to go see Harry Potter on opening night. We were expecting there to be a line when we got there two hours before it started, but there were only two people in line. Needless to say we found good seats. Although, I could have done without the annoying teenagers!

The car ride home was very adventurous. Lilly did really well on the car ride down but coming home not so much. She cried basically from Scottsdale to Provo. Since she wasn't cooperating I was stressing out and just anxious to get home. We stopped to see the Hoover Dam for a minute (literally) and stopped in Las Vegas to eat at Panera's. We finally got home and once we walked in the door Lilly started running around through every room excitedly screaming (while gapping her mouth) to FINALLY be back home.

She is such a doll, I can't believe how old she looks. I love her in her floaties...such a hit at the pool. I love seeing the updates.
