Love DOES Conquer All

I am a fan big of Carrie Underwood and have come to love her song called "So Small". This song is about love being so much larger than any other trifle in our lives. It's so true!!!! I was so touched by this song and music video that I thought I'd share that with you all.

My challenge for you is to be more mindful of loved ones in your life. Forget about trivial things in your life and focus on sharing your love. If there is conflict in any relationship in your life, RESOLVE IT!!!!!! I've come to realize that life is precious and can be taken away so quickly. I have had days where laundry or dishes get pushed aside to spend time with my greatest loves (Jesse and Lilly). I have found that our greatest memories come when we shut out the world and just focus on strengthening our little family. Just think of how peaceful the world would be if families were REQUIRED to spend time with each other on a regular basis.

In the LDS faith we are taught to "Love One Another". A scripture that I hold dear to me in The Book of Mormon is Mosiah 4:15. This is especially applicable to me at this time in my life where I have a small child. Children minds are like sponges. If they see your hatred towards others, they'll think it's normal to hate others. There is already so much corruption in the world, please don't add to it. Family is "
central to the Creator’s plan". Whether you belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or not, I urge you to read "The Family: A Proclamation to the World".

Put your family first above anything else in life and I promise that you'll be much more satisfied with your life.
