Father's Day and Swimming Adventures

This year for Father's Day, Lilly got REALLY sick. We had spent Saturday night at Jesse's parents, since we were out that way for the Bahr Family Reunion. Lilly slept for a little while in the portable crib, but woke up and came into bed with Jesse and I. It was a pretty hot night and I just assumed that's why she was so hot.

The next morning when we woke up she wasn't herself, but we made it to Sacrament meeting anyway. As the meeting went on, we noticed more and more how droopy she was looking and how warm she was getting. We went back to Jesse's parents soon after and she fell asleep. She took a few quick naps and when she woke up from one of those quick naps, I noticed she was burning up. I sent Jesse to the store to get some infant Tylenol. She spent the rest of the day, laying on the couch sleeping and watching Sleeping Beauty.
As soon as she started perking up again, we decided to take the opportunity to quickly get home just in case she went downhill again. We got home that night and she watched a movie for a while and then went straight to bed where she slept all night. The next day she was feeling better, but I was sick that whole day. It was an eventful Father's Day! This year Jesse got a Nintendo DS for his Father's Day/birthday. He was SO excited when I told him what I got him.
We've been trying to use the pool here at Willowbrook as much as we can this year. (if you'd like to come swimming with us, just give us a call!!!) Lilly especially loves it.
