The Bean Museum @ BYU

Last night we decided to finally make it over to the Bean Museum on BYU campus. For those who have never been, the museum features animals from all over the world that are dead and stuffed. It has been many many years since I've been and Jesse and Lilly have never been. I don't remember it being so cool when I was younger. Lilly was a little scared of the animals (real, but not alive), but LOVED the black widow spider (REAL) they had at the guest service desk. They have an insect section with HUGE beetles from Africa. As Lilly would say, "kuck" (yuck). I didn't know this, but Utah has some pretty huge insects of their own. I hope I never run in to any of them. I think Lilly's favorite animal there is the Nile Crocodile from Africa. My personal favorites are the elk, deer and buffalo. And Jesse says he liked the antelope, especially the ones that look like Joe Camel.

I love all your entries and look forward to them! Lilly is just the cutest! It's funny to think of how scared she is of bugs but that she loved the tarantula...kids are funny!
