We had Lilly's cousin Luke sleepover one night while his mom was recovering from surgery. She and Luke had a blast and she keeps asking if her other cousin Joe can come sleep over. She also mentioned her cousin Olivia coming over and I was amazed that she remembered her since they've only played a couple times since they live in Washington.
We had a close call involving Lilly's fingers. One day after preschool we were driving over to Debra's house to pick up Luke and Lilly's window was rolled down. I went to roll it up and heard her start whimpering. I look back and I can see her fingers on the outside of the car and started to panic. I was turning on to a stretch of road where it would be hard for me to pull over. I rolled down the window and the scream-crying began. I felt so bad that I couldn't pull over. I made it to Debra's house and checked to make sure all fingers were still attached. Luckily my mom was there to help me out. I still cringe at the thought of having rolled her fingers up in the window.
For Halloween we actually got dressed up. Jesse went as a vampire hunter priest. I went as a vampire. And Lilly went as Belle. We decided to go over to Debra and John's since we usually only get 2 trick-or-treaters every years. We're glad we did. Not only did John make some delicious soup for us, but Lilly got to go with her cousins trick-or-treating which she was more than happy about.
