November

Nothing too exciting happend in November except that our new car was broken into. Some guy that lives nearby broke into 20 or more cars one weekend. We found out because a neighbor brought Lilly's sunglasses to us and told us the story. She thought that somehow Lilly's friend got her sunglasses and they ended up in her car that got broken into. That wasn't the case though. Lilly had those sunglasses in our car the day before. We went to our car to check it out and found this:

The only things we're for sure were taken were the glasses and an instruction dvd about our car. He took toys and cd's from our neighbors car so either he's a perv or needed some Christmas toys for his kids.
We had a nice Thanksgiving. We went to Jesse's parents house this year and ate some yummy food. Jesse was off for 4 days so he decided to fix the leak in our bathtub. This turned out to be a royal pain. He started the project on Saturday and we thought it would only take a few hours. WRONG! He got it just about fixed and then found out there was a leak in the water main for our condo. In order to fix that we would have to contact the whole building and tell them that we were shutting off the water for a few hours. This was Saturday night so we thought we could maybe do it while people were at church the next day. On Sunday Jesse went to go ask our next door neighbor if they had the main shutoff for the building. They didn't but they had the same exact leak recently and he gave Jesse a suggestion to fix it. Jesse came home and did what the neighbor suggested and it worked! So finally by Sunday evening everything was back to working. I finally got to take a shower! Going without hot water for a long period of time is painful. I couldn't cook, do dishes or shower. Needless to say, I'm very grateful for hot water!!!!!
